Stewardship
Stewardship involves faithful and thoughtful giving of our time, talent, and treasures.
Our stewardship is a part of how we live out our discipleship – essentially our call to be fully-committed followers of Jesus Christ.
Stewardship is important to help ensure that our church can continue to minister and meet the needs of our parishioners, local community and beyond – now and in the future.
Here are some examples of being a good steward:
Volunteering for church services, events, outreach initiatives, etc.
Donating time to serve on church committees, distribute brochures in the local community, bring services to local senior’s homes, etc.
Sharing your talent by singing in the choir, baking goodies for church events, helping with coffee hour, creating knitted items with the Sisterhood group to benefit those in need, decorating the church with the Chancel Guild, or helping decorate for dinner events, etc.
Regular financial giving through our P.A.G. (Pre-authorized Giving program).
Giving to support one or more of our Designated Giving funds for organizations such as A.P.C.H. (A Place Called Home), Arocha, etc.
Arranging to support the parish in the future through legacy and estate planning.
Supporting our events and fund-raising initiatives by participating in them
Bringing in food items to help keep St. Paul’s Pantry stocked for those in need
Doing your part to help keep our church grounds, building, and resources clean and in good working order by returning items to their proper places, using the garbage and recycling bins, etc.
