If you have pre-teens & teenagers at home that are looking for something to do, check out our new online Youth Program!!

What we’re all about at Bottom Line

Bottomline is a Christian youth ministry geared towards ages 10-12 (Jr. High) and 13-18 (Sr. High).

We run several programs geared to these age groups. Our youth program runs Tuesday nights 3-9pm

Bottomline is a youth ministry that preaches the word of God and the ministry of Jesus. We believe that every youth has purpose and the right to know Jesus. We are geared towards relationship with youth, through relationship we are able to help them deal with the problems and the troubles the world throws at them. We offer a safe place where youth can be youth.

Our Bottomline is Christ and the word of God. We ask the same question to youth. “What is your Bottomline”

Welcome back to Bottom Line Youth for another fantastic year!

Every week on Thursday evening from 4:30-8:30 we meet at St. Paul’s for a time of fun activities, food and learning more about God. We will be continuing to delve into faith issues and foundations of Christianity this fall through our ongoing bible study times and group discussions.

New this season will be the development of a youth service format, including worship music and regular prayer sessions.

Also new this year, Leah Farmer will be starting a new interest-based puppetry program that we hope will grow into a community outreach ministry our youth can get excited about. As usual, we will be sharing meals together with the help of Sue, Warren and our other volunteers. We will also be engaging in different fundraisers this year, going towards ongoing programming and events like Kingdom Youth and WonderJam.

Our last fundraiser car wash was a smashing success, bringing in over $375 to cover costs of our amazing trip to Wonderland in June, 2017. Thank you to all those who came out to support us and the youth who did such an awesome job! We are always looking for volunteers to assist on Tuesdays, ideas for fundraisers and ways our youth can continue to connect with the congregation. So please contact either the church office or Dan Farmer if you are interested in getting involved 🙂 at (705)340-3662 or messages may be left at the church office (705) 324-4666.

Dan Farmer, our new Youth Minister Leader

Dan Farmer, our new Youth Leader

Daniel Farmer has a heart for youth ministry and brings many exciting skills and experiences to this new direction for the St. Paul’s youth groups. He also brings his wife, Leah Farmer, to help out and join in the fun.

Among his qualifications is a professional degree in music, having ample experience with and a passion for private and group mentoring and instruction. For the past several years he has worked with the youth at People’s Full Gospel Church in Lindsay and Shiloh Christian Centre in Fenelon Falls, ranging from running weekly programming to larger scale event planning. A few of these larger events included private laser tag nights at Ken Reid Park and Fenelon Falls Secondary School, Bigger and Better, and most recently ROCK THIS CITY; an event which was free and open to youth in the community held this past June at Central Senior School.

Dan is committed to creating a stronger connection between the youth and the church as a whole, instilling a sense of community and ownership. Programming will be focused on equipping youth for life after high school and how the church can be not only a great support network, but an opportunity to get involved in serving and having relationship with the living God.

Please feel free to ask Dan any questions when you see him. I am sure he will be more than happy to share more details as requested.
