Warren Leibovitch recently presented a cheque to Dave Tilley from A Place Called Home for $700. This was raised at the Ministerial Carol Sing on Sunday, December 7th at St. Paul’s Church.
A big thank you to everyone who came out and helped make this possible.
If you have an account on Facebook and want to see pictures of events that have just happened, or want to know what is coming up, you can “Like us” on Facebook. If you want your friends to join in the fun, you can encourage them to do the same. How? A few ways.
We try to share images of events on our FB page as well as here on the site. Don’t forget that we have the weekly bulletin, the up to date Grapevine, the Sunday Recorded Sermons all here for your convenience.
We had a carol sing at the church on Sunday Dec 7th in the evening. It was very successful with over 220 people attending. Money was collected to benefit A Place Called Home. We have a talented congregation though, as there were lots of lovely voices and people who play instruments. A beautiful evening.
Here are some photos from our annual program with children from King Albert school. The children learn about the Christmas story, sing some carols, and then have a chance to participate in a pageant!
Many thanks to Ethel Morris for coordinating the program and to all the volunteers.
Ethel Morris led the grades 4-6, Janice Ross led the grades 1-3
Program was on Dec. 1st & 2nd.
The kids enjoyed crafts, songs, snacks and of course, a pageant. And a lovely looking group they are in their finery.

November 30th was our Tree lighting and Evensong at the church. The tree was lit and a service took place and then we all went inside for a carol sing. Thanks to Doug Copp who played for the service in the church as well as the carol sing in the hall.
The youth group got together on November 25th, and had great fun. It included games, cookie making for upcoming fundraiser, and panini sandwich making! (and a dish washing selfie!) A good time was had by all.
Our Remembrance Day Service had music and we were honoured to have some of our veterans taking part.
There was a nice steady crowd at Harvest Happenings on November 1st. Good prices on jewellery, delicious baked goods and some recently published books! Take a look at the layout and all the happy customers.
