Deputy Rector's Warden - Barbara Truax

Barb Truax has retired from her career as a registered Nurse after 45 years in that profession. Her contributions to St. Paul’s church have been for a lifetime, but most recently within the church she has been a Warden – 1997-2000 – Chair, Capital Campaign (Project 2000) ; Chair, Capital Campaign (Project 2004) ; Chair Communications Committee, Lector, counter and our Annual Mystery Dinner Convener.

Barb is also very much involved in our Community. Listed among her accomplishments; Chair, Lindsay Legacy CHEST Fund Committee; Vice-Chair, Library Board, City of Kawartha Lakes; Chair, Fundraising Committee Kawartha Lakes Food Source.

Married to Art, the former Mayor of the City of Kawartha Lakes, they have two children – Sherry Giltenan and Tim Truax. She is also the very proud grandmother of Sarah & Tom.
