Don’t forget to look each week for our Church Announcements. These have timely reminders about upcoming events, submissions for the Grapevine, the Designated Givings and just the general calendar of events that are happening in our church.

Upon entering St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Lindsay during any daylight hours, you cannot help but be drawn to the stories of Jesus Christ’s Life that are being told in the glorious stained glass windows. Besides the beauty of the windows, in each one there is a message and a history!
Over the next few weeks we are looking at getting a picture of each window and “its’ story” on the web- site in order that St. Paul’s can share this gift we have with the world.
Do you have any information on the donors, who/how the theme was chosen, any great digital pictures of our windows, and/or church stained glass in general that you would be able to share with me in putting this information together? Are you interested in helping with this project? If so, please call Paul Carpentier at 705-324-5666.
The plan to suspend the Friday morning preparation sessions for the summer are being cut short, as the cupboards/freezers are empty. We will get back to work on Friday August 5th at the regular time of 9:30 – 11:30. Over and above re-stocking the regular Sunday offering we need to work in a few things like; Christmas cakes for Harvest Happening, 300 meat pies for the fair, 500 butter tarts and 150 muffins for the fair.
You are most welcome to join us any Friday morning that you are available.
Thank you for supporting this project and making Cooks’ Fare so successful both financially and at meeting a need within our congregation.
