Re-Imagine Church

We all know the challenges the church is currently facing!

We do need to Re-imagine the church and we need to do that as teams of laity and clergy together as we listen for where the Spirit is leading us.

To help engage in this conversation I will be facilitating the Reimagining Church Course in Kinmount beginning May 29th, 2012.

The course is a newer version of the Mission Shaped Introduction Course.

Re-imagine the church involves 5 Tuesday evening sessions – and will take place at St. James, Kinmount (19 Water Street) – 7 – 9 p.m. beginning on May 29th and finishing June 28th. I strongly  encourage each parish to have a team of clergy & laity join me in the course – to listen and learn together and continue the important conversation of where we are going in the 21st Century in order to be faithful to God’s call to us.

Cost of the course will be covered by the Church.

Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board. I look forward to sharing in this program with you!

Blessings,

Linda
Bishop of the Trent Durham Area

We served 123 at lunch, 181 at supper and 26 youth group members.

Thank you all who helped to make this such a successful event. We are very pleased with the results of the sign up for desserts instead of phoning all of you.
