175th Anniversary Articles
The accompanying eleven articles were originally published in the Lindsay Post from January to November, 2011 and covered 175 years in the life of St. Paul’s within the town of Lindsay. The idea for the series grew out of a 175th Anniversary publicity session. Since St. Paul’s was making use of its 175th Anniversary year to examine its past and present while building a renewal plan for its future, it made sense to outline its past, present and planned future. Resource material for the articles was collected from St. Paul’s church archives, the Anglican Diocese of Toronto Archives and microfilmed copies of The Lindsay Post obtained from the Lindsay branch of the City of Kawartha Lakes Public Library reference department.
We hope you enjoy reading it as much as we enjoyed the process of researching and writing it.
